Jolie Myers is a journalist based in Washington, D.C. She has a deep background in managing and editing projects across radio, podcast and digital formats. Myers is currently the Deputy Executive Producer of Today, Explained, the daily news podcast and public radio program from vox.com. Before joining the Today, Explained team, Myers was the Managing editor of the Vox Media Podcast Network, where she led editing on the narrative longform podcast about tech and society, Land of the Giants, in addition to editing podcasts for The Cut, Vulture and more.
Before joining Vox, Myers spent more than a decade working in public radio as an editor and producer. As a supervising editor for NPR’s All Things Considered, she led teams around the world to examine the state of democracy and globalization. Her work with these teams has been recognized with multiple awards, including a Pulitzer Prize (finalist), a Murrow, a National Press Club Journalism Award and a Deadline Club award.
Myers lives in Washington, DC, with her elderly chihuahua, Meatloaf.
